The front office staff (EVERY TIME I'M THERE!) is completely flat & unwelcoming. If he were any less stellar, I would not endure the rude unfriendliness of the reception/front desk women and the insanity of the billing department. No improvement here as far as I'm concerned. I just know to go take a seat & someone will eventually call my name for my appointment. That was how I was first addressed upon arriving for my follow up appointment. I stood there for 80 seconds (I set my stopwatch) before she told me to lean forward for my temperature. Scarcely looked at when I entered, not acknowledged, & then the front desk woman went back to whatever she was doing. But he is the best Ophthalmologist I've ever seen. The front desk reception is consistently the worst I've experienced. How disappointing that it's actually worse. She is responsible only for the front area and nothing else. The over-busy, harried woman is indignant that anyone would trouble her about being made to wait. ![]() Someone will call your name.” While I'm waiting, a brave older woman approaches the second window. ![]() Eventually the over-busy, harried woman says, “Go sit down. Everyone is customarily ignored for several beats. Every person while I'm sitting here (25 minutes so far) waits for further instruction, which doesn't come. She then points to the first window where there is a scrappy Sign In sheet on the counter. There's a sign at the 2nd window, “OUTLOOK EYECARE CHECK IN” but as people walk toward the window with the sign, the woman behind the glass barks, “Did you sign in?” Everyone, myself included, is a bit befuddled.
